Worst of the worst. I have never written negative review in my life but they are giving me the nightmare that I have never experienced as a customer. Vfs said they can prioritize my visa application according to departure date. I have submitted my visa application over 40 days and still not heard anything back. My holiday, flight tickets, hotels are all wasted. The embassy doesn’t pick up phone call and never replies my emails. Now I just want my passport back. I have filled in withdraw form which they kind of force me to but they are still doing nothing. I don’t know when I can take my passport back.

Very cooperative and professional consular service. I was very impressed with how quick and responsive consular officers were. Not only they did their line of work ahead of time, but also contributed greatly to get it shipped sooner.

The most incompetent, inefficient, rude, aggressive, hostile people work in this embassy. It has been 80 days and they are not able to process and return my passport. After 70 days i asked vfs to cancel the process and return my passport. Everyday i call vfs and they say it has been escalated with the embassy but still no reply. I had to urgently travel but vfs has not been able to return my passport. Today i called danish embassy and found the real reason for the delay in the return of my passport. After waiting 40 mins on the phone the most rude, impolite, hostile consular officer picked up the phone. He said you people are impatient and you keep on calling and emailing us so get off the phone and let me do my work so everyone can get their passport back. I do not have the time to look at individual applications so get off the phone. The incompetent officer should realise I wouldn't be calling in the first place if they had returned my passport in the last 80 days. If they do not have the capacity or capability to process visas stop taking the applications in the first place and how much time does it take to return a passport where the application has been cancelled? Height of incompetence.

I applied for a visa in October and its December, I still haven't got my passport. A passport is an important travel document I need it and I can't seem to get to anyone at the embassy. This is beyond terrible service. I am so desperate for my passport. I was told to wait maximum 45 days but it's gone past that.

Out of the ~6 Schengen zone embassies I have used for a visa in the last few years, this one surpasses all expectations of incompetence. The VFS website stated a 15 day processing time, but at application I was informed this was actually 45 naturally, the trip was booked and paid for according to the 15 day timeline- first red flag. It is now day 53 and still no sign of my passport- VFS now say the standard time is 55 days. Blatant lies, and dare I say- fraudulent representations. Completely unacceptable to advise a 15 day turnaround, and to then indefinitely and illegally withhold ones passport. Word of advice: visit literally any other country in the Schengen zone- nothing in Denmark is worth this amount of wasted expenditure, time, frustration and stress. UPDATE: still no update... TWO MONTHS since submission and no word UPDATE: 68 days since submission... still nothing UPDATE: finally received my passport back after 70 days processing. Think very carefully before following in my and all the other reviewers' footsteps

Before applying a visa, checked the embassy website, it says need at less 15 days for processing application. Filled an application on the embassy website, and found the visa center they authorised, but found out no appointments available, called the embassy, a woman said appointments only release on 15th every month, ok, I kept checking on theirs website everyday until 15th, finally booked an appointment, still more than 15 days what they require and say on the website. Went to the visa center on time, waited an hour, been told at less need 54 days, checked on the embassy website again, it still says 15 days, called the embassy, this time they said minimum 54 days. Completely washed money and time. If they update their website on time or update information during any steps described above, I won’t be writing this comment here. They are so conceited. Horrible experiment.

By all means run for your life.Poor communication .Dont bother to apply if you are of colour .submitted all documents after application . However invalid grounds were given for denial.mind you hadbooked hotels and flights as arequirement. As if that was not enough, passport overstayed more than 2months due to delays . Not able to travel other places during my leave . Then requested to appeal after six months.. please consider other schegen Ccountries if you need to travel otherwise y

Embarrassment of an embassy. Nobody picks up the phone in their ridiculously short phone hours and receptionist is unable to answer any questions and suggests “writing an email”. How about just picking up the phone and processing applications as requested?

Been waiting for my visa for two months and no word from the embassy. Missed two flights and will probably miss my third because of this. Now i’m just trying to cancel it but even their cancellation process is slow and they don’t reply.
