Has the local second hand furniture trade sewn up. Lots of tired old tat. Dont go expecting bargains. You may find occasional gems in the chaff, but most of the goods up for grabs are overpriced for what you are getting.
Good collection of furniture and other second hand items. Got a great cabinet from them and it was delivered on time and undamaged. Was perfect for displaying the dinner set Gran left us and we're very happy with it.
Great range of furniture, homewares, appliances and assorted treasures and very good prices. Some very nice art glass today, at quite reasonable prices. 30/06 still good value.

Fantastic selection of fantastic antiques, amazing furniture with character and an enormous selection of Townsville history. If you don't visit and support this local business atleast once a month then you don't know what your missing out on!!!
It was terrible no customer service what so Eva the prices were ridiculous, I could buy some of the items there brand new...but not looking 4 brand new so very disappointed.
I have to admit every single piece of furniture in my house now - and over the past 30 years has come from McCartins. My silky oak table and 6 chairs - at auction for $100 - worth $900, the 3 chairs i thought i'd have to pay $60 each for and got the 3 for $20 at auction. Even my decorations - paintings and sculptures. You name it - it comes through the auction centre. And they are so much fun ! But really - anything i've ever bought from ikea or amart - i'm sorry - but it's all chip board and falls apart. Sometimes McCartins get brand new furniture in too from shops that close down. I LOVE the train shed in South Townsville - always cool - they really knew how to design buildings 100 years ago. Truly check it out. !! it's a great place to go just for an adventure.
Jo has done so much to organise and present the shop very well. Clean and friendly
