Lack of sauces, chips were saggy and rotted potato. Old male owner is aggressive and rude if you ask him extra sauces or fork he shows attitude and anger as if he is giving it for free. Wont recommend this place at all
This has to be a 5. I love this place. It’s a wonderful kebab house. First, the cafe is spotless and well ordered. The service is impeccable too. Polite, interested and engagingly efficient. Best of all, the food is absolutely wonderful. After consultation, I ordered the large mixed meat - lamb and chicken - with hot chilli sauce and salad. The meat was outstanding. Full of flavour and sooo tender. Such a generous serve too. The accompanying salad knocked me out as well. What a beauty. Beautifully chopped tomato, lettuce, red cabbage, carrot and white onion. Lovely dressing on it as well with just the right dusting of sumac. The whole package was so well prepared and presented and it was completely delicious. Care, skill and professionalism was evident in the whole package. I felt I’d committed highway robbery when I was only charged $12.50 for this beauty. I enjoyed the meal so much, I ordered one as a takeaway for my partner to have later. But, not before I had a good long chat with the Turkish ladies here about the wonders of that country which we visited a few years also. I can see why Rosebud Kebab House won best kebab in Victoria here. It’s a mighty place. I’ll return very very soon.

This place gets super busy in summer! Lucky I’m a local and can enjoy their offer all year ‘round. Lamb kebab with garlic sauce is my go to. My son enjoys their HSP!

Best kebabs in rosebud!! Workers are really nice. The lady makes best baklava. Got the hsp yesterday and I will definitely be back for another one
The older male owner is rude and aggressive. No welcoming 'hello' or even a simple smile when entering his shop. Customer service is everything. Somehow he clearly became frustrated because I changed my order from lamb and chips to HSP with lamb and with his heavy accent and my not hearing him correctly repeat the order, he became physically angry and raised his tone with impatience. My daughter said he scared her after I walked out and cancelled the order due to his disgraceful manners. So, what does that say? With so many other polite business owners who greet and treat their customers with respect and courtesy, if you're after a souva, go to the Rye souvlaki place - much better, more authentic and friendly faces. Perhaps I should have learnt my lesson after buying from the Rosebud shop years ago and being spoken to like it was a burden to take my order, and not given them the benefit of the doubt again today. Such a sterile void of an environment, it's off-putting.
