This is a really well designed park with some great ideas. Water play area drains into shallow pool which trickles out to sanded area where a digger/crane allows kids to create water courses. The two slides in the tower are wicked fast and can be negotiated by a 2.5 yr old. A forested path is growing in quite nicely, there's a swing, smaller slide, climbable netting and other things to challenge kids. A complicated structure for digging, lifting and moving sand. Pro tip - there are toilets around the back of the sports centre, and it's a short walk to the river if you want to catch some water traffic. It's in a really unique place up against industrial docklands and the Bolte, but why not put a park in an area you couldn't do much else with?

Great little patch of parkland hidden away in the depths of Melbourne's Docklands. Amazing open public space and playground for the kids. Anyone for soccer?

Great open green area with a wide dirt / stone walking circuit. There are are a lot of seating options throughout including a picnic area with bbq. Playing fields are well kept and in good condition for ball sports. The impressive Playground has some unusual options. It's a very noisy park due to the proximity to the bridge and factories and construction areas. Parking not a problem.

Place for kids to run and the rocket is ace. Even adults can squeeze down it. Good for all ages
