The rooms are disgusting!!!!!nWe booked under my partners name. The rooms are full of dust I was sneezing the entire time with hay fever. The walls have marks all over them, behind the toilets obviously never get cleaned and the blanket in the cupboard had marks and stuff all over it. The fridge needed to be wiped out as there was hair and other stuff in there.
We were on a road trip south and stayed one night.nGreeted by friendly and courteous staff.nRooms were clean and reasonably appointed, we wererighton the Hwy and unable to hear road noise.nOnsite parking is a little tight for larger cars, however there are sufficient spaces.nRoom rates were compatible with other motels in the area.nI use A CPAP machine, there were no power points next to our bed for this, and it was no problem for reception to drop in an extension cord.
Handy location ,tidy room,unfortunately the TV couldn't find signal for free to airnA little inconvenience, parking is a problem if the motor in is fully booked have to park on the side street
Stayed on the way up to Mackay for Christmas, booked direct on their web site , as I do not use booking sites- most of the time the money goes overseas from them. Definitely better to book direct or phone up.nWe enjoyed the stay, the room was comfortable and clean.nOn the way back I booked the same unit, as it was easy for my wife, being on the ground floor.nThe lady at reception was very helpful.nI have stayed in a few motels in Rocky over the years, and the Rocky Resort gets my vote now, will certainly be a returning customer!
Stayed here last night room clean however no cutlery or sugar for tea and coffee makingnHorrible pillows .over all would not recommend it only chose because of proximity to train station oh and milk was curdled like cream
