We've stayed here many times, it's always been our favourite place to stay. The rooms are beautiful and unique, the spa is fantastic and the staff are always amazing. And the bed! Is humongous! And so soft and comfortable!!nnOur most recent visit however, might have been our last. As much as we love Denison Boutique, our room was very musty. I recently had pneumonia and still experience respiratory problems since then... The mustiness in the room made it hard for me to breathe and it was a struggle to get through the night.nnI can't fault the staff or management though, they are always so good and keep the place well. It's just an old building and is lacking good ventilation in the rooms.
Beautiful ambient hotel. Old world charm. Lovely comfortable bed. Very clean and fresh. Friendly, professional staff. Breakfast amazing
I liked the unique rooms with very very high ceilings. Also it felt very clean. If you are sensitive to noise in the morning you might want a room not on the road side. It gets pretty noisy in the morning. But if you wake up early it is all good.
Interesting old place. Our room was very large with a spa featuring antique furniture. The dining area floor was very unlevel - possibly 100mm drop from one side to the other. That said, it's an old building and it was close to where we needed to be. Good value breakfast option.
A great stay in Rockhampton. Even better price. Walking distance to CBD. Breakfast available. Next to the train line which can be a little noisy, but old school thick walls help. Rooms are awesome and have a spa bath. Recommend.
