Lovely park. There's a large and well maintained open green lawn that can accommodate a large amount for a picnic. The facilities are well maintained and clean. The path by the river is reasonably well shaded but I would still strongly recommend a hat and sunscreennnThere's free exercise equipment along the path which is in good order, as of April 2026.nThere's also a badmington court and plenty of benches.nChildren will like the water feature and play area at the front.nnThere are, occasionally, a few hooligan youths riding around in their dirt bikes and making themselves a nuisance, but that's a phenomenon that you find everywhere.
Such a lovely park with something for every age group! There are big open grounds where you can bring your own sports equipment and enjoy a game, along with plenty of comfortable seating areas to relax. The water play area is perfect for kids and toddlers. The jumping pillow is currently closed for renovation but is expected to reopen by the end of May 2026. Overall, we had a great day here—definitely a perfect spot to visit with friends and family and spend quality time outdoors.
One of the best things about this place is the playground and water play area – it’s great for kids and keeps them entertained for hours. There are also BBQ facilities, so it’s a perfect place for a weekend get-together.
A beautiful park on the side of Brisbane river. Park has good child friendly water activities. A coffee kiosk, lots of play area ans beautiful green lawn. A favourite place for locals to get their daily walk.
Rocks Riverside Park is one of my favourite spots for a family day out! The park is huge and beautifully laid out, with plenty of green space, picnic areas, playgrounds and walking/bike paths along the river. The kids absolutely loved exploring the different play areas — there’s something fun for all ages, plus plenty of shady spots to relax under the trees. We enjoyed a long riverside walk and had a lovely picnic while watching the river go by. There are BBQ facilities and lots of room to spread out, so it’s perfect for a weekend outing with friends or family. Great place to let the kids burn off energy and enjoy nature right in Brisbane! Highly recommended!
