A little like a county show grounds in the city. Large, open and flat with plenty of parking and multiple access. Everything is a little old, but seems to work. The centre lawn courtyard is actually very pleasant. Easy access back to Ipswich Road.
A sad shadow of its former self. Was there to see CircusRio. Luvd the show! Was heartbroken by the state of the showgrounds. Toilets were clean and presentable despite the renovations going on.
Lots of fun at the Chilli Festival 2022. A small event, but well kept and reopen after the February floods. Not far from public transport.
Hall is poorly maintained, lack tables and seats. The ground is open and spacious and looks like a good venue for outdoor events. It's not summer yet but the place is already dry and hot.
It was a good swap meet and show it's a shame the rain came after 7 and rain on everyone hopefully next year will be a better show and the sunshine will be back thank you.
This was the Car show and Swap. Something for everyone. Quite a lot of cars on display, swappers with all sorts of things to swap, bus rides around the track, interesting old machinery, food stands and historic cycles with people in period costumes. An entertaining day.
Had an amazing night. Perfect location to hold such a great event.
Just visited here on Sunday for a car show and pinup pageant. It is old. But it has charm too. I am not sure of the history but it has a cool circular track and a "Rocklea" sign. It has a nice feel of being in a regional town for a bush dance or car derby and it is only 15mins from the city along Ipswich Road.
Attended the carnival, it was nice and easily found parking. Good for families with children.
Great place to get the COVID vaccination. Organised and on time with easy directed parking.
