I can only give here one rating and that's 5 stars.nThank you for being so wonderful to my Mother in law Dulcie.nFrom the Cleaner to the Nurses to the team of Doctors in emergency to assessment ward to Mum's release it's just been so impressive all be it not something wanted of course by Mum to be here.nThanks again. You are really appreciated. To all the knockers just have a bit of patience. You do not know how lucky you are to have a healthy system like this ! Thank you Qld Health.nPeter Johnson.
Well deserved a 5 star rating. My sister was admitted this morn to ER dept as she had a fall at her nursing home. The ER staff were amazing, very caring as nothing was too much trouble for them. Dr Andrew, Nurses Robert & Debbie they were all very professional in their duty of care & test follow ups. plus all the other nurses & staff who attended to my sister’s medical needs. Very very impressed with Robina hospital at such difficult times in ER it felt like you were the only patient needing care. Keep up the good work…
Okay, I’ve visited enough times now that I need to write this review. I cannot speak highly enough of the Robina Hospital Emergency Department. I’ve been a patient here several times over the years with influenza A, bone fractures from road cycling races, mountain biking, and more. Every single visit I have had different staff members and have been met with exceptional care, professionalism, and genuine compassion.nnFrom triage to the wardies, nurses, doctors, and radiographers, every single staff member is amazing. I've been to plenty of other hospitals, and what really sets Robina ED apart is the way the whole team works together. There is a positive energy and respect between staff here that you just do not see at other hospitals. It is clear they enjoy working with each other and as a patient, that vibe makes all the difference.nnMost recently I had a scapula fracture from a cycling race crash that was missed at the Princess Alexandra Hospital but correctly diagnosed and managed later that same day by Robina ED.nnYou simply will not find a better emergency department experience anywhere else. Robina ED is world-class and I feel incredibly lucky to have this team looking after our community.nnIf others have had a different experience to mine, I suspect they may have forgotten that the staff are there to help and that showing respect and gratitude goes a long way. The team at Robina ED deserve nothing less.
I recently had day surgery at Robina Hospital to repair an umbilical hernia, and I can’t speak highly enough of the incredible team who looked after me. From the moment I was admitted, I felt safe, respected, and genuinely cared for.nnEvery member of the staff — from the nurses and anaesthetist to the surgeon and recovery team — was calm, confident, and professional. They explained everything clearly, treated me with kindness, and created a sense of trust that helped ease any nerves I had about the procedure.nnThe surgery went smoothly, and the aftercare was attentive and reassuring. I felt like I was in very capable hands the entire time. It’s easy to take our public healthcare system for granted, but this experience reminded me how lucky we are to have people this dedicated and skilled working in it.nnPlease pass on my heartfelt thanks to the entire Day Surgery team — you made what could have been a daunting experience into something I walked away from feeling genuinely grateful for.
Hello, I wanted to write a review now that some time has passed and I can see things more clearly. What happened to me is simply not understandable or acceptable. Here's what I experienced:nnA friend of mine had been in an accident and I was informed she was being taken to Robina Hospital. So I went there and asked around in different areas. A woman at reception spoke to me kindly and pointed me in the direction of the emergency department.nnWhen I got to the emergency area, I asked the man at the front desk about a woman with a specific name. He told me she hadn’t been registered yet. I waited, hoping he’d give me more information. Then he asked how old she was. I told him her age, and he turned around and asked a group of people—both men and women—who were behind him talking. I couldn’t hear what they replied due to the glass between us, but apparently someone must have made a comment or a joke, because they all burst out laughing.nnThen this man turned back to me and, half laughing, told me there was no woman of that age. I find this type of behavior extremely disrespectful from people working in emergency services. It is very unprofessional and quite frankly, disgraceful.nnThey must understand that they are dealing with human beings—HUMAN BEINGS—not making coffee or mowing lawns. I understand it’s a tough job and sometimes you need to let off steam and have a laugh, but my friend could have been seriously injured, maybe even dying in an ambulance. Show a little respect and compassion.
