Hi Everyone Today is Monday 20/12/2021 I've just had my 2nd Covid test done at the Bundoora R M I T campus in Plty Rd. Middle of the day, not too bad of the car waiting time. But not suited for a full size lux sedan ,my Ford LTD ,very tight drive through areas! Anyway probably had to wait approx 40min or so ,fill out personal details in Q R code, get tested ,wish the staff a Merry Xmas head home and now wait for my results. Easy done!! Merry Xmas everyone Mr Kim Barling
Covid testing site. It was 10am when we rocked up and the que to get in was big, but the wait was 2.5hrs for your test. Waited as everywhere is busy, the staff are super friendly and are doing a great job at getting the tests done as quickly as possible.
What a marvelous place, they are so lucky with the main Canteen there they make cauliflower pies. Many courses, and set in a semi rural setting. It's a uni so not much more I can say but scan the social networks. I have included some photos from across the road at the Uni Hill factory outlet.
RMIT will forever be my favourite University and Bundoora will forever be my favourite campus. A lot of people complain about how it is far away from the city and that it is boring. However, it is right across from unihill and conveniently located near the main tram line. The lecturers here really care about their students well being, not to mention the atmosphere is absolutely amazing. Sure, the campus may look rather small and a tad bland at first glance. But once you look past all of it, you will see the beauty in it’s simplicity and appreciate everything it is. RMIT also has a very quaint library with two levels and many private study rooms to prepare for exams with friends or groups.
Nice to here for AYUSH Conference...
Nice campus but one issue is an eyesore for me. I would like to see RMIT renovate the external aspects of building 201 Siddons as it looks very dated. RMIT is usually very progressive in this regard with the city campus. It is time they made a statement at the Bundoora Campus and redesign the exterior of the 201 building.
I will always call RMIT home. I went to RMIT when I was fresh out of high school. All I can say is thank you for my fondest memories. I would rate you all the stars in the world.
