This pub is a great spot! The beer selection is excellent, boasting a range of different beers on tap and a solid range of bottles, so there's truly something for everyone.nThe outdoor atmosphere is a highlight. The area is non-smoking and very pleasant, making it a perfect spot to relax and enjoy a drink with friends.nWe also enjoyed the food. The lunch menu was good, offering tasty food that was not too badly priced.nOur only minor issue was the setup for smokers. We had a vaper and cigar smoker in our group, and the designated smoking area was a standing area located separately from our outside table, which made it difficult for the whole group to stay together comfortably. We would have definitely stayed longer if the outdoor seating was smoking/non-smoking arranged. An hour to smoke a cigar with 6 beer drinkers could have paid off for the owner.nOverall: Highly recommended for beer lovers and anyone looking for a nice outdoor dining/drinking experience
We had such a nice evening here. Delicious food and drink, great service even the piped music was spot on! The prices were good too. When I settled the bill I had to look to see if they had missed something!nWe stayed in the park area in our self contained camper. Very reasonable rates, nice and quiet too.nWe will be back. It is a close enough drive for us to do date night here.
Had a beautiful lunch @ Riwaka today, burgers n chips, amazing taste, well presented. Great atmosphere, service was outstanding and friendly. Thanku we will be back
Wow…. this place was amazing!! Called in twice in one day! Firstly to have a cold beer after cycling 70 ks & shared the pork belly bites & wings - so delicious!! Then went back for dinner burger was great ! & those lil garlic buns . Manager & staff super friendly , courtesy bus fantastic! The staff here go above & beyond !! Check it out - highly recommended!! From the road it may not look a treat but it certainly is!
The wonderful people at The Riwaka Hotel provided a wonderful venue and amazing buffet lunch for my father's milestone birthday recently.nnThe venue was beautiful with easy access and ample parking. The food was scrumptious. The pork belly was the standout dish and was praised by everyone at the event as being the best they had ever tasted.nnOur family highly recommend you visit or use the Riwaka Hotel to host your next event.
