During our 10 months of exploring the New Zealand and eating and trying fish and chips almost everywhere, these were not really good. The fish was quite tasty and good, but what really decreased the quality were chips. Soft, wet, not so crispy at all and in just 5 minutes on the beach cold. Also the price, we paid almost double the normal price for the food and the portion was quite small for that money, but I guess that’s because of the location… I think you there are another takeaways in Motueka worth trying, this one didn’t satisfy us.
Absolutely love and enjoy just me so half scoop of chips and piece of gurnard if they are open in morning when I am there. Bacon and egg pie for breakfast best I have bought for don't know how long I bake my own but this was delicious. I have been back so many times same orders. Lovely staff as well most accommodating. Much appreciated. My favourite! Highly recommend. Many thanks see you next time soon.
The staff are super friendly, the portions are good and the fish is Tarakihi that is a really good size! The price is comparable to other places with some things being cheaper.nThe Happy Chippy does great fish n chips and has become my go to chip shop
best fish and chips in Motueka and the best I have ever tried. Good fish, good portion of good chips, quick and friendly service. Forgive me for not making it back before leaving Mot like I said I would. I will definitely stop by again someday. Thank you ladies
First chippy to try in Motueka based off recent reviews. So pleased we did. Huge fish and the spring rolls are incredible homemade?. Scoffed it down pretty quick so forgot to take photos!nnBack again. Always so good here. Popped back here to add recent photo of menu 23/8/24
