Breakfast was one of the best I have had. Staff were really friendly. It's a busy place but despite this, the staff are welcoming & do their best to ensure you're happy. Highly recommend Parking: Plenty of street parking

We ordered the salmon bagel and pulled beef burger and they were both very good, fresh & delicious. Coffee were excellent too, one of the best around Ballina.
Couldn't even get served, walked in and asked if it was table service prior to taking a seat. Found a spot, got my laptop out to start catching up on emails, 15 mins had gone by and no one had come and seen me. Cafe was not busy by any measure and wait staff at the coffee machine had noticed me looking at them several times. Just terrible service, I got up and left. Got significantly better service at Kin Local Eatery just done the road.
Waited 40 mins for a takeaway Paninni Gluten Free Ham Cheese straight off the menu. 40 mins later I was served a toasted bun of some sort filled with roasted pumpkin. Coffee ordered and paid for 2 medium sized capacinno coffee to go. Received 2 small capacinno coffees to go. Why? Because they ran out of medium sized cups. Not impressed.
I was visiting Ballina from Sydney, and ate there on the Monday of the October long weekend. It was very busy, however we managed to secure an outdoor table as a group was leaving. A Charming young waiter, "Will" graciously seated us, and provided us with menus. The food was very good an the coffee was excellent. Could have been hotter. Service from "Will" was excellent. Had the breakie stack, tastes abs freshness was there, fast service and great coffee. Slightly sad by the actually sadness of the plate couldn't mix all the different yummy food. Spoke to the waitress, so very helpful and what a good experience.
Found a hair in my food when I pointed it out she was very very rude. Because of her rudeness I asked for a refund. She exclaimed loudly. “You almost finish it and you want a refund!” I really would have preferred to find the hair before I ate the food. I said I would report them if they did not. She left then stormed back and yelled. A refund has been put on your card and stormed off. Before we had a chance to leave she came back and yelled. “ feel free to call the health department. “. I would have been happy with a sincere apology. So rude.
The coffee was good. The lady on register was nice but I had to witness her being berated for something trivial by wait staff. Performance reviews are best out of customer's earshot.
