Great doctors surgery, receptionist and nurse are always friendly and I'm able to get an appointment whenever needed. Never have to wait long to see my doctor. Dr Nina, she is the best, very thorough, listens to any concerns I have and takes appropriate action. Would highly recommend to anyone needing medical advice/help.
Over a month back had been feeling very unwell for a few days . My usual medical centre couldn't see me of a blasted week and then not in medical rooms but only via a car drive through . Pretty crook so rang around . The Riverlink Family Practice would see me that day even though hadn't been there before as long as i had a negative RAT Covid test in the previous 24 hrs . Polite and excellent service all round . As unwell didn't want to be waiting for ages and that was exactly how they saw me that day . A pleasant reception on arrival . Didn't even sit down and sent to the nurse for preliminary checks . Back to waiting room . Had only been sitting for a few minutes when called in by doctor . He was polite and through . After some discussions , questioning and physical checks was diagnosed with throat infection and prescribed antibiotics . Doctor answered any questions that i had . Done and dusted . No bill or gap fee . Reckon out of there in well under an hour . EXCELLENT . Will definitely be going back if need be and have already recommended this Family Practice to others via word of mouth .
Nice reception staff, but the problem I had was with the doctor I saw. He didn't even listen to me and just writes a referral for me to go to another service that i already went to 6 years ago, he is obviously religious and tries to refer people to AA which is heavily religious. I don't think he actually knows how to deal with people. Goodna family medical centre is the best doctor I have been to, where they actually listen and try to help you. I recommend you go there instead.
The ladies were very helpful to me, I was really sick I previously tried 6 other doctors surgeries and nothing available, they had offered me a cancellation, so I took it. I needed medicine and pain relief. Very kind and caring. Friendly. Invited me to come back now that I was in the system. Told me that I would most likely get same day next time. I recently moved house and needed an family practice that I feel comfortable at. I also suffer a chronic illness. Thankyou to them.
Not the greatest place. First visit with dr Nina and Dr Fred they are polite but that’s just a facade because you are new. The next time I went was 3-4 months later, They look at you like your an inconvenience and don’t bother to look on notes from previous visits. But they are the ones asking you to come back in a weeks time?? They take less than 5mins to see you but charge your visits to Medicare at a ridiculous rate, like why? When you are not providing a proper service? Their duty of care is like a 2/10. Manners 2/10. I mean I was okay with them doing it to me but when they started being tardy with my kids - I was done!!! Honestly GO ELSEWHERE.
Receptionist was lovely which gave me a good feeling about the place, but the doctor barely even looked at my injured baby before rushing us out the door. I felt like I wasted my trip and my money. I felt even more concerned when the pharmacist questioned the dosage and went elsewhere. Dr in question I believe was Nina.
Absolutely horrid they don’t care about anyone but the patients money. I took my newborn in to be checked and they tried to charge me $120 before they’d get even talk about her, because she was one week old and not on Medicare card yet, all other doctors backdate it to Medicare. Horrible doctors and horrid service. They only had 10 mins anyway and told me to chose “the most important thing to talk about” because of the time limit.
Would not recommend Dr Nina Unuth. She was extremely rude during my child’s appointment and has no people/relation skills whatsoever. I don’t think she even bothered to say ‘hello’, just called out the name for the appointment and when we walked in flatly stated ‘what do you need’. She then raised her voice at my 18 month old who was standing up and down on the scales in the consult room. And beyond having no professional courtesy she then provided a script for a medication that is long term out of stock.
Would give this place a zero if I could. My partner made a drs appointment for the both of us to get forms filled out for insurance. The dr or should I say nurse refused to fill it out because we didn’t see them and saw another dr which was available the day we needed them. On the form it states a medical practitioner can fill it out and didn’t need to be the original dr. She still refused. I am guessing because she can’t read English as she was not an Australian Dr. This is the second time I have had issues here the first was when they put down my symptoms as heart burn. Few months later symptoms get worse and I go to another dr who sends me for an ultrasound and confirm it has been gallstones all this time.
Every experience I’ve had at this doctors has been great from the lovely receptionists at the front to the doctors and the wonderful nurse they have. Would and have recommended to many people.
