Earlier this evening, I purchased 2 boxes of ice creams. Drove the very short trip home couple of minutes, and realised the ice creams in both boxes were completely melted....absolute liquid, like they had not been in a freezer at all.nI called the IGA straight away, and headed back to show them, and query a refund or exchange.nThe manager was non responsive, simply advised me there is no issue with the freezer, and bluntly refused any form of compensation. Mentioned numerous times that it is 42 degrees outside....ignoring that it was a mere 2 minute drive home in an air conditioned car.nAs a devoted supporter of small business, I have frequented this IGA every year when we holiday in Yarrawonga.nBeing in retail management and customer service for the better part of 30 years, I have dealt with all manner of customer related issues, from looking after a young fella that was short $1 on his $8 purchase, to being physically threatened.... I am well versed in customer issue resolution and problem solving. Knowing that there is a major big business competitor just up the road, and two more recently opened a few minutes away, this was poorly handled.nNeedless to say, I will be spending my hard earned with Woolies from now on.

Great service friendly customer service very helpful, they just Love their products AND CUSTOMERS

Got there at 6.58pm doors were locked. Staff had to let out a customer and said they closed at 7.00pm before quickly locking the door, instant shut down.nI only wanted to buy a pack of ciggies while on a quick work break.nGuess I'm just used to being more accommodating to customers from working in hospitality

Large shop with bottle o. Friendly staff and bottleo had great specials

Always sure of a bargain with friendly checkout staff who pack your bags neatly. No self serve checkouts here thank goodness. Highly recommended.
