Business traveller, Wednesday night. 11.40pm the noise is incredible from the pub, can't sleep.nn$138 expensive by comparison to similar in town.nnNo smart TVnNo milk for coffeenNo toiletries, shampoo etcnnNot even a biscuit to eat with your black coffee.nnPathetic!
Stopped in for something to eat. Greeted with a smile. Staff were very helpful and friendly. The food was excellent, vegetables cooked perfectly, and steak medium rear cut like butter and the mushroom gravy was full of mushroom bits, wonderfulnThe extra mashed potatoes mmmmm, so yummy. Followed by sticky date pudding with ice cream and a nice flat white coffee . Tho the food was basic pub grub, it was delicious and big servings. All n all a great experience.
I went here for dinner last night with some friends and was very happy with everything. The staff were very polite, friendly and always smiling. My food came out in a timely fashion and was so delicious. The sizing was very generous and I couldn’t get through it all. I will definitely be returning again on my next visit. This is definitely the place to go if you want friendly staff who go out of their way to make your dining experience enjoyable
Older style country pub with TAB and small gaming area. We stopped for 1 drink and a dabble on one of the 6 machines. Great location overlooking the lake. Friendly atmosphere with locals enjoying the arvo.
Only had a lunch meal for four recently. My mustard seeded chicken salad was presented nice however the dressing was far too much, and saturated the other flavours. Yucky. Better if a small container held the dressing. Friends snitzel was overcook, so dry. The others were ordinary. Especially for the price. Won't bother again.Such a shame, had high hopes.
