A stunning octagonal mudbrick building over-looking the Goldfields Reservoir and set amongst tranquil bushland.

Story

Ripples on the Res. offers people a chance to escape to the bush and enjoy a coffee, breakfast, light lunch, a devonshire tea or an evening meal in a peaceful and friendly atmosphere. Dine inside our beautiful mud brick dining room or outside overlooking the reservoir or grab an ice cream and enjoy a stroll around the scenic reservoir. Our friendly staff aim to see you leave with a smile on your face and the desire to return.

Ripples on the Res, is a unique, octagonal mud brick restaurant with scenic views over the maryborough reservoir which has a walking track around it. With an international menu, why not start with scallops cooked in sage butter and follow with Atlantic salmon. For dessert there is a selection of cakes and coffee. The host, Jackie is always open to suggestions for variations to the menu and ensures there is dinner music playing in the background. A fantastic venue for lunch, a birthday celebration or a romantic evening for 2. Ripples is THE place to go.

A lovely rustic beautiful atmosphere with very hospitable owner and staff. Lunch prices very reasonable and food of a very high standard, we shall definitely return to this venue. Well done. J&G

As soon as we walked in the door the owner was so friendly. We only had coffees and some cake but very nice and the views at the rear was so relaxing. I will return when in the area.

We had a xmas breakup. The meat was lovely. Venue is always nice atmosphere. A bit of background music could be good for xmas though.
