"Small Batch is open the 29th - 31st December and then back to normal on the 5th January.Small Batch, Ripe Coffee Roaster's flagship cafe in the heart of Petone. Originally a simple espresso bar, Small Batch has now developed to be a cafe with a seasonal & healthy menu offered weekdays; alongside a delicious cabinet, daily baking and gluten free sweet treats. With the incorporation of a production kitchen, roasting premise, retail store and event facility, Small Batch is the cafe with it all. We serve filter coffee, cold brew and drip coffee by origin; whilst our Pito-One blend is offered to suit a milk coffee and meanwhile the origin of the month is for black coffees."

How cool is this place!? An unexpected delight near the end or the beginning of Waioni St! Aweaome staff, fun, funky decor, plenty of comfy seating inside & out, a great range of tasty treats, some nifty pop-art t-shirt merch, and, of course, really, really good coffee. Well worth the u-turn. Dietary restrictions: Plenty of g.f options
Great little cafe. I was at the tyre shop down the street, and they recommended I wait here while they worked on my van. That was perfect, because I was able to grab a coffee and work while waiting for my vehicle. My husband ended up joining me a while later, and we were able to work there together, but, even though we spent over $35 in food and coffee, I guess we overstayed our welcome and had to leave. Luckily the van was finished up by then.
Great coffee, two blends to choose from, and food. Dog friendly too with water bowls and seating outside.

Not bad! A pleasant little surprise in an otherwise dull industrial area. Very nice vibe, and ideal for retreating on a rainy day, especially when a fierce southerly wind is blowing.
Excellent staff who allowed us to order their Hutt Hot Chocolate Challenge 4 minutes before closing!
Good coffee. Food was good but was not a fan of the peppermint slice. The potato hash was pretty good.
Cool place. Almost a great 5 but bored staff, hot chocolate challenge came luke warm and coffee delivered 15 mins before hot chocolate. This place has potential just needs some enthusiasm and flair.
