Very poor experience for my dog’s stay in the kennel. He came back with an injury to his tail, we didn’t get told about this until the day of pick up. The end of his tail has to be removed because of this. He also has significant weight loss, about 4kg of his normal weight of 18kg. We didn’t received any apology for this, but a threat that I could be sue about the review I’m going to make here. I would not recommend this to anyone who cares for their pet.
100% would recommend Rilten. Took us in last minute due to a family emergency. Were so kind and understanding. Made sure to get as many details about our cat and dog as possible to keep them happy. Picked up 2 very happy animals. I am so glad I found you guys, will definitely be using you in the future for any trips away. Thank you thank you thank you!
Rilten Kennels have refused to honour their advertised price. Their website clearly says $36 per day for a large dog. There is a mention of higher rates for Christmas, but no mention of higher rates at other times. But when I asked about a seven week booking, I was told it straddled the September school holidays so a much higher rate would apply. I queried this and they said they would not honour the rate on the website because peak rates would apply, despite them not being mentioned anywhere. They even had the cheek to tell me to book through the website. I will take my custom to a kennels that does not try to cheat their customers.
Fantastic care by Rilten Kennels for my cat, he had a long stay here, i was very happy to get him back in tiptop shape. Great customer service also
We put our beautiful German Shepherd in for 3 nights The staff were friendly Max was pleased to see us on pick-up but not distressed At a kennel not local he was so distressed on pick-up it took us ages to settle him Thankyou for your care
Excellent service, the owners are true animal lovers, this is the best kennel by far that I have used. When we go on holidays and I take the dog to Rilten he has a great vacation as well. He knows the place and cant wait to get out of the car and greet their staff. I have complete peace of mind leaving my pets at Rilten Kennels.
I was worried to leave my dog, Pepsi, in kennels but I shouldn’t of been. The staff here are lovely. They upload pictures or videos onto Facebook and it appeared Pepsi had a great time. He had had a lovely clean with them and smelt lovely too. I’m now not worried about leaving him next time for our longer holiday. It looked like he had his own very fun dog holiday and made some new friends. Thank you to you all for looking after my boy.
