Richmond Fish N Chips

Fantastic double patty burger with almost everything on it for $10.80! Great value right there. Cooked perfectly and tasted really good. Look forward to returning to try other items as everything coming out of there from other orders looked equally appealing.

Oh gosh, this place is one of those rare magical gems, that once you discover it, becomes a regular treat. The first time I went was a friday I was surprised to see it packed, and with all hands on deck behind the counter. But even with so many people the food was freshly prepared in no time at all. Heh, how often do you see five skilled people making fish and chips, in a family shop, and all perfectly synchronised! Quality, tasty, fish and chips that take you back to that joy of your childhood memories. We love this place.

They do really good food but the place is never bloody open. First they shut Monday, then they shut Tuesday and now they seem to almost shut Wednesday as well. What’s the point of being in business if you don’t want to accept customers.

Stopped here before monster trucks with my son. Loved it. Great burger and Crispy chips. Recommended

I really miss working in Richmond only because of this store. Compared to all the other stores on the street these guys had the most reasonable prices for the food that they prepared freshly. Owner would always throw in some extras into my order as well. I highly recommend the delicious Lot burger. As far as I'm aware all of their products were halal back when I went in 2019.

Wow! I was pretty excited to find a fabulous proper traditional fish n chip shop close to the city. Flake was fabulous, cooked to perfection. Staff were great and the wait was short even though it was a really busy night. Looking forward to my next visit!

The best fish and chips in town

I had some chips with gravy and a vegan spring roll and it was delicious. Cooked fresh while I was waiting. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the menu was comprehensive and well priced. There are a good range of drinks on offer and the location is very convenient.

Great service, very friendly, only had dimmiesdim Sims. As a qualified chef and had years of experience, I can tell by what's on display and the cleanliness of the shop these folks take their business seriously. I'll have to give the fish a crack cause even that's displayed in a refrigerator cabanet and looks fresh as.

I popped in for a cheeky souvlaki over lunch. What I didn't realise was that I was ordering a tour of the Mediterranean for my tastebuds. The lamb was grilled to perfection, the wrap had a sensational balance between dough & crispness and the garlic sauce was divine. 11/10 best souvlaki I've ever had.
