Rice Paper opened in Newtown in 2011 and brings a wealth of experience in the industry, previously as owners of the successful Saigon Bowl Vietnamese Restaurant in Strathfield for nearly 20 years. My go to Vietnamese in Newtown! Fantastic food, lots of gluten free options, and get quick service. Their vermicelli bowls and spring rolls are my favourite!

The crispy chicken vermicelli is my go-to and has never disappointed me! It comes bone free. Even better with an addition of spring rolls. I like the coconut water too but it's often not available. Service is normally prompt and friendly. Sometimes they let you split the bill and sometimes not.

The food was quick and the service very good, but the mains were a little disappointing. They lacked flavour. The entrees were the best part of the experience.
