Rice At Chevron

Absolutely appalling customer service. Ordered and waited 50min, went up to ask how much longer, they completely forgot about my order and asked me what I ordered.. Would not recommend to anyone unless you want to wait over one hour for a simple chicken on rice dish. 1/10

Highly underrated restaurant!! The food is delicious & good value for money. Gets busy at lunch as they cater for the hospital workers, however the staff are quick, friendly & efficient in serving. The choices on the menu are endless with ample flavours rotated in the hot bay-marine at lunch time to keep it interesting. Recommended choices include the extra hot chilli chicken, kung pao chicken or the satay beef.

Amazing Chinese food. Very friendly boss cooking with passion. Love the Mongolian beef and sweet and sour pork from there. Looking forward to try other cuisine after lockdown.

A gem just down from The Alfred Hospital near St Kilda road. Wonderfully tasty dishes at great prices. The soups are a meal on their own & a bargain at $6. Friendly hosts & great service.

One of the best Chinese places I've been to. My favourite was the Chicken from the good General Tso and vegetable rice noodles dry but they were cooked in oil and soy sauce, slightly oily but still nice. Very friendly and happy service also.

This is one of the cheaper options in the immediate area. For those of us who are just office workers with a short lunch break, it is a godsend. The food is ok. It's not gourmet but it is ready to eat from the bain-marie. The servings are a good size too. My main criticism is that there is only 1 vegetarian offering, unless you count noodles. Those who eat meat are well catered for though. I gave them 4 stars instead of 5 due to the lack of veggie options and also because the prices went up after lock down.

Combination noodle soup, with vegetables and two BBQ pork buns. Soup could have been heated more but over all super yum.

Do not go to this place I got some rice noodles and when I tasted it it was so bland no flavour at all. I tried to call but they were closed the next day I called him and explain to him it was like rubber that there was no flavour and I threw it out I seriously did. I requested a refund and he said because I took it home he cannot do that. Don’t go to this place everyone. The owner does not seem to care if he gives you rubbish food.

Sweeping the floor while customers are trying to eat you literally can see the dust in the sun - that says a lot about their hygiene. I will not eat here again!
