Attended the clinic with a sick daughter, she was turned away as she was dropped there before I arrived and because she had no means of payment was turned away at first until I called and paid over the phone. The floor manager/nurse was particularly rude and abrupt to my wife and I, maybe she was having a rough day but should still not talk to people as poorly as she did when responded to a question she asked. The doctor was pleasant and very caring and my daughter was seen quite quickly, ended up in A&E though so the $89 was a waste of money as it turned out.
I went in after 4 days of vomiting and stomach pain. From the reception to when I left I felt comfortable and cared for. The nurses were great and friendly & listened to me. The doctors are great too. I was happy to pay the walk in fee of $75 instead of waiting endless hours at the hospital in pain. Thank You to all the staff here. AAA+++.
I've had to attend twice recently as it was too difficult to get in to see my own doctor at a different practice. The check in time was efficient, the nurses and doctors were great. A lengthy wait time is expected as sometimes there are more urgent cases than your own. Appreciate the nurses and doctors are doing their best and detailing with staffing shortages as well. Thanks for all you do. the chemist staff were also lovely!
Reception good, nurses good, wait time of 2 hours ok considering the current climate. Went in with bad sore throat, doctor didn't check glands didn't even physically look at throat. They put it mainly down to stress but gave antibiotics anyway, advised if antibiotics didn't work in 2 days just stop taking them, that would be against what every other doctor tells you to do with antibiotics. Would not trust that particular doctors medical advice. I'm sure there are good doctors there but if your a walk in it's not worth the risk of getting a bad one.
Have been an enrolled patient at this clinic for years and have never seen it this bad. There’s no appointments available for a minimum of 2 weeks, so your only option is to go in an wait for a GP. I walked in the other day and the wait time was 3 hours. This is not the receptionists fault they’re just doing their job but I will be changing practices when possible.
Apparently there are no appointments for weeks. But they do have time to see "walk-ins". Seriously, people who work can't wait hours at a doctors surgery!! You receive a lot of government funding to provide a service for your enrolled patients ironically paid for through taxes by those who work and can't get appointments and you get that money even if you don't see your patients. How about you prioritise those patients and if you can't handle the volume stop taking on new clients. They get 2 stars only because my Gp, when I can see her, is great.
This is a very well run practice. When you arrive you are questioned on your symptoms and are asked to be seated. A nurse will call you to do an assessment on you and then you are placed in the queue to see a doctor depending on your symptoms. Yes there can be a long wait time & people may be seen earlier than yourself, if their symptoms are more serious. We found everyone we dealt with there was friendly & professional. The nurses & doctors are doing their best trying to get through as many patients as they can. Please be kind to the staff while you are waiting your turn.
Worst experience of my life, if I could give them 0 stars I would 100% without a doubt. The nurse told us the waiting time to meet our doctor will be maximum 1 hour, and we’ve waited more than 3 hours. Thank you for wasting our time. I highly recommend to everyone that’s in Christchurch to never come to this clinic.
Yes, it definitely gets busy, but if you come in early or book an appointment, it is not an issue. The nursing team is great and the doctors I've seen Dr Rachel and Dr Gareth were professional, empathetic and considerate. Thank you!
Useless reception. Can't get anyone to pick up the phone to book appointments and no one ever picks up if a cancellation is needed. The option to book online would be great if they actually listed my GP's appointment availability on their website and kept it up to date. Very poor, please avoid this place if you need a reliable medical clinic.
