Very cool pub. Loved the vibes and spacious areas to eat, drink, play pool, watch the live band and an outside too with a bar! The staff were super friendly and chatty and the burgers and chips from Goldieboys were DELICIOUS! A great lunch that I'd 100% come back for when over in the West!
Don't bother if you are looking for decent food or friendly staff. Actually, there was not a single thing out of the 3 taco options I could eat when I visited. Only chicken tacos were available we discovered, and that was after waiting for 1.5 hours for the truck to get organised...and after we followed up repeatedly. The taco truck cook was offhand, did he not realise he couldn't fulfil the order when he took it? No other food was available, not even packet chips. We missed our opening act we were there to see a band as we were waiting for food which we then couldn't eat. Staff were distracted and not friendly. This used to be a cool pub. I miss the old Reverence Hotel, with great food, friendly service and awesome vibes. Would not bother to try to eat or drink there again. The band room is pretty good though.
Hotel Westwood is the best pub I've been to in a decade as a punter. Friendly staff, an excellent acoustically treated band room, beer garden, very good bistro & a delightfully traditional Melbourne Bar! Nice work Houndog
If you're looking for a laid-back spot with great burgers, a solid selection of beers, and a fun vibe, you can't go wrong with Hotel Westwood. This place has it all, from a friendly and attentive staff to plenty of outdoor space for enjoying those long summer evenings. The burgers here are top-notch, with juicy patties and all the fixings you could want. And the beer selection is impressive, with a wide range of options to suit any taste. Whether you're a fan of hoppy IPAs or smooth lagers, you'll find something to suit your palate. But what really sets Hotel Westwood apart is the vibe. It's a place where you can kick back and have a good time, whether you're catching up with old friends or making new ones. The staff are lovely, always ready with a smile and a recommendation, and the atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming. In short, Hotel Westwood is a great spot for burgers, beers, and good times. Whether you're looking for a casual dinner or a place to hang out with friends, this place has you covered. And with prices that are more than reasonable, it's a great value for money as well.
The service is friendly, fast and Efficient. Incredible live music performances and awesome atmosphere. I enjoyed some live music while have a couple of beers with a mate, we also partook in the pizza from their kitchen as well. Honestly it was the best pizza I have had in Melbourne so far. Seriously. Delicious flavours, great ratio of ingredients and condiments. Soft dough and smoky flavours. Incredible experience.
Not too bad for the summer months. Inside not being used apart from the band room. Enough people behind the bar for once. Food not too expensive. Toilets a bit too small for the amount of people they want.
Was a great atmosphere in there, felt like everyone and anyone welcome. Great friendly staff...even had a great chat to one of the regulars. Will become a regular place to hang out I think. And they have lots of live music which is brilliant.
Brilliant mix music, lovely staff and fair priced menu welcoming space for all
Lovely local pub. Great local bands. Wonderful food. Good atmosphere.
Great staff. Great music. Bandroom at the back. Beer garden. Pizza. David Lynch vibes.
