Named after a Scottish castle, the pub has been in business for 137 years. With its classic exterior and the old-world charm of its 70-seat dining room, it certainly looks the part, your host Gary Clough has worked hard to ensure the pub’s beauty isn’t just skin-deep.

To accompany the great food, there’s a good selection of wines, including many available by the glass. Dine by the fireplace in the dining room in the winter months, or check out the Marquee for those summery days. We have the venue to suit all seasons and all occasions.

Kids are well catered for and wheelchair access has been arranged to make this a family-friendly pub that welcomes all. The hospitable atmosphere also makes it a great place for a function. We cater for everything from birthday parties, anniversaries, business lunches and, of course, relaxed Christmas parties.
