Continually extremely disappointed with the poor level of care at Regis East Malvern. The level of care is appalling. The training of the carers is non-existent. The level of hygiene is appalling - supposedly once a week clean of each room - does not happen and my mother’s room has food and excretions on the floor for over a week on several occasions and not cleaned up. Photographic evidence can be provided!. Would not recommend this facility to anyone. Despite many discussions with management at the facility, there are no changes and no improvements in the level of care. Lots of smiles and promises, but no action. Fully understand that there are staffing issues in aged care facilities, but Regis East Malvern, you really need a shake up. Level of care is sub-standard for an aged care facility where residents rely on others to look after them and make decisions for them. Falling out of bed is inexcuseable lower the bed! Or provide a bed with side barriers!. To not pick up on or report a hip fracture for several weeks is blatant incompetence. No training provided, staff turnover is horrendous, even agreed to by visiting senior medical staff and specialists!! Say no more!! Time to move out!!!
I came to visit my grandma last week and was greeted by the office manager Sharon,nshe was absolutely amazing so friendly and very helpful.nI feel very happy that my grandma is in a such a wonderful facility with wonderful staff around her .
Wonderful place they looked after both my grandparents before they passed away. I could not fault the service and care the staff have there. I love the coffee machine and the wonderful places there is to sit and have a chat to the residents. I also enjoyed using the function room .
If you are looking for aged care The Regis East Malvern is wonderful. It feels like being on a luxury cruise or inna 5 star hotel. Manager Blair and all of the staff are lovely.
We are all really happy with the care and attention shown to the member of the family who resides here. I couldn't speak more highly of the staff and facilities.
