went there to buy boots with my girlfriend. we both found what we looked for. the service there is amazing, the staff knows details about all their products and they have the biggest selection of boots in canberra. would visit again 10/10
Was quoted $300 in Melbourne to get a zipper repaired on my boots. These guys did it for $30! Also, amazing range of Fly London boots which I have not seen since I was in London. And finally, fixed me up with a pair of shoes for a wedding in 5 mins, noting I am a very fussy customer. Awesome service. Thanks!

I was ordering two pairs of Solavair boots from Redpath, via the Internet. Firstly, I was given wonderful help and answers to my many questions via the online chat, late at night. This wasn’t someone at a call centre, it was actually someone from Redpath. Next day I received even more help over the phone and ended up being able to order them over the phone, with the online special price!! One pair needed to come from the UK, so I was shocked that it arrived only 3-4 working days after the order!! The other pair had already arrived. Polly gave friendly and very helpful post purchase advice on the phone, and I can’t wait to visit the store in person next time I’m in Canberra. VERY IMPRESSED with the whole experience
My partner and I took our Birkenstocks there to have the cork resealed and ended up with glue on our leather, massive drips of glue on our shoe soles in random places and one tear was filled with so much glue it bulged inside and left a bump on my sole which makes it uncomfortable wearing my shoes. I also took some leather boots there earlier this year to get them resoled and again just a poor quality, leaving one heel unstable and affecting the wearing comfort of my boots. There’s little care in the work done and no attention to detail. Poor quality and quick fixes. We won’t take any shoes back there for repair.
I live in Ireland and found Redpath Shoes by sheer coincidence when I was scanning the globe for a very specific pair of Doc Marten's boots for my wife. Redpath had those boots and for a very fair price, too. Transaction was completed swiftly and the boots were dispatched with Australia Post next day. All went smooth until they got stuck in Sydney, which was completely understandable given the situation of the pandemic causing extreme bottleneck situations in the flow of global air cargo traffic. However, after the shipment departed from Sydney, for some reason, the next update showed the boots turned up in queue for import clearance into Curitiba, Brazil rather than in Dublin, Ireland. The following about two months were spent on trying to get Australia Post to investigate and trace the whereabouts of the parcel. After this sufficient time allowed to locate the shipment Redpath Shoes have claimed the lost shipment with their logistics partner and, in turn, provided me with a full refund. During all the time Anna of Redpath Shoes has been a true gem and provided a somewhat hyper-care service to me. All emails were answered promptly, faster than expected really, and Anna did not get tired to action my requests to chase Australia Post for updates. The boots went on a long trip to the unknown, but certainly none of that was Redpath Shoes' fault. But in the light of all this shipping trouble they really got to shine as their customer service was nothing short of being superb. Although they're located at the other end of the globe I would not hesitate for a moment to do do business with them again. Thanks a million!
I bought some excellent Portuguese-made slip-on boots; they were pricey, just under $300 with the 10% Boxing Day discount but they look and feel very good, and seem to be a lot tougher than the Chinese-made garbage that dominates in stores like Myers and David Jones. But I am particularly impressed with their repair services. I always need to have extra fabric placed in the heel of boots because my feet are wide and otherwise my feet slip forward/back. They did this for me for $35, which is great value I was quoted $90 elsewhere. So I took a backpack in to get leather stitched into the bottom, which was wearing out; they only charged $25 for that, and it was a very solid job, I reckon the rest of the bag will fall apart before the bottom wears out now. So I would recommend them highly: its worth paying for the top quality, well-made, real-leather boots and shoes presumably, and their repair services are great too.
