Brand new machines up to 28kg washing machines. Fit my huge mattress topper into the largest only. 31mins for $21 + card fee. No coins. No water to wash up around you. Folding table and rubbish bin though. Clean and comfortable. Relieved to find it open for Redland Bay and the islands' residents. Just a bit pricey, otherwise 5 stars from me. I spent $30/load to wash and dry. 3 large loads = $90 but fast... It was still worth it!
Very disappointing. I've just returned from my 3rd visit and it will be my last. The place has been dirt each time Ive been and whilst I wouldn't ming paying the extra dollar for a hot wash $8 the wash has never been hot. Whites come out the same as they went in! The dryers are good though but unfortunately not enough to make me want to return.
Brand new Laundromat. New machines. Excellent!! I have used it at least 4 times. No complaints.
There is parking out the front of the shop so you don't need to carry the load very far. Bakers next door will give you change. There are two large machines big enough for king size doona or mattress protector and some smaller machines. Dryers are huge and don't need long to dry as the washing machine spin is amazing. Bring your own detergent. Very clean and tidy.
I relied on a review below talking about washing a king size mattress topper. This cannot be true. The washers are very small. Be careful. There is no way you can wash a king size anything in these machines.
Multiple machines of varying size. Chemist and iga sell laundry products and the super Yummy bakery is happy to give $1 coins x$6 per load and $2 per 8min of the dryer.
It was great going into a laundromat that was clean, and had large washers to wash queen/king bed doonas and toppers. I used the super large machine which cost $10 for a 35 minute cycle. My QB 900 gsm mattress topper came out nice and clean with no flecks of dirt on it and no damage done to the topper. Will be using again for my next bulky item that needs laundering.
Travelled from Thornlands at about 6pm All open but no change machine or card payment. Notice sayings bakery will give change but already closed so waste of time
I used the Laundromat at Redland Bay for the first time. The manager/owner was there and was very helpful. If he isn't there the bakery exchanges coins.
