This place is an absolute gem! The oat milk latte is nice.The muffin and date vanilla scone is on point. The inside of the muffin is soft and moisture. Everything is packed nicely in a takeaway box. Definitely gonna come back for more.

Good place to stop, new staff but upskilling. Nice big pot of tea, and delicious meal.  Kid-friendliness: Yes, play area.  Parking: The hotel next   door was busy due to bikers rally.

Fixate is a great eatery with a modern menu and presentation. Would go here again.

Beautiful,  delicious, well presented, good value, a real treat. Take time to stop here. Friendly service.

Now a modern little cafe called Fixate, we had a great stop here on our way to Taupo. Good coffee, fantastic home made baking and cabinet food, super lovely people and a nice vibe. Worth the detour!

My son gave the Strawberry milkshake the best he has ever had.  Beautiful outdoor  garden setting surrounded by some chic modern shops.

Pork and watercress pie is so yummy! Especially on this blustery cold weekend in December it went down well. 10mins from ordering to the table isn't too bad considering there's a few people here. We ordered the pork and watercress pie along with the Cannon, Kau Kawanajust had too and the pancakes.

Great breakfast with even better coffee. Get there early,  parking is a bit of a problem. Lots of people come for there great food and service.

Fabulous food, amazing atmosphere and great staff. Wehadbreakfast here this morning, the best meal we have had on all our travels of the north island.

Amazing pies freshly cooked, the desserts are awesome and the coffee and service brilliant.
