I loved staying here. The man that helped us was very nice and the rooms are very nice too. If I ever come back to raglan I will definitely stay here. I also love that it's so close to shops and the swimming/play area. We had a lot of fun.

It's really nice, especially for a motel, with a neat back patio area and a good location near the water. This does mean it can get a bit loud at night. It was honestly a nice place with clean beds and bathroom. The low rating is because there is no AC so you have to keep the windows open, and more than 20 flying crickets ended up in our second floor room on the beds at night. I can't stand bugs and I just wanted to give up and leave. Luckily once you turn out the lights they really stop coming in as much, so we got rid of those that got in and were able to sleep. Regardless, I wouldn't ever go back and I'm glad it was only one night.

My partner and I were at raglan to get married. We stayed at the sunset motel with at least 20 of our family and friends. What a awesome place it is clean and tidy,  handy to everything. Great courtyard to socialize in and the owners could of done more for us or been any friendlier.  We stayed there for 7 days and we're very impressed with our whole experience.  We highly recommend the sunset motel thanks so much.
