Loved it! Ragazzi is hands-down one of the best restaurants I've been to in years. The quality of the food was outstanding, the service was well paced and friendly, and the wine list was a fantastic compliment to the menu. We chose the chefs selection for dinner and this did not disappoint - a well portioned and delicious menu with each course building on the last. Hand made pastas, imaginative and authentic sauces and great starters and dessert. The dining room is very cozy, and as a very popular restaurant, bookings are recommended a number of weeks or longer in advance.
Great Italian lunch/date spot. Had seen this in top restaurant lists and places to try and it is where it should be. Intimate interior and outside is really cool if you can get a spot. Incredible staff that were very accommodating and insightful. Pasta was delicious and Al Dente, all the food was incredible and extensive wine list. Highly recommend Ragazzi as a restaurant to try in Sydney
Every dish was delicious. The spanner crab pasta was a 6 while the other sausage pasta was a 4. Appetizers were close to five stars. This place is not easy to book, so be sure to book well in advance or check out their other restaurants that are also exceptional
The chef's menu was really great value with 3 appetizers, 2 mains, 2 sides vegetables and 1 dessert for just $75pp 2 people. The staff were very friendly and the restaurant had a nice vibe. Only thing is it is a bit cramped and a bit loud inside, but nothing unreasonable. I would recommend the duck sausage pasta, something I have never seen before but really tasty.c Overall a really great option for a nice occasion at a reasonable price, really enjoyed our dinner.
Had a seat outside. Really enjoyed the kingfish appetizer while my friend loved the croquettes. The pastas were pretty good though the portions I felt could be slightly bigger. Overall quite a nice place but I felt the staff were not the most friendliest - but maybe they were just having one of those days.
Fantastic experience and Italian Food at Ragazzi. We were in Sydney visiting family over the Christmas break and Ragazzi was recommended. Being from Melbourne and the heart of some of the best Italian restaurants in Australia didn't know if Sydney could compete. From the moment we arrived the service was exceptional. Then came the food - also exceptional. Ragazzi is just the right size - not too big and but large enough to have great atmosphere. Would highly recommend to anyone seeking a great Italian meal in Sydney centre.
You need to get yourself to Ragazzi in Sydney. Trust me, it's worth the effort to book ahead because this place is always packed. But once you get a table, you won't be disappointed. I ordered the sea urchin pasta and it was mind-blowingly good. The flavors were perfectly balanced and the pasta was cooked to perfection. The portion size was just right, leaving me satisfied but not stuffed. In addition to the pasta, I also ordered the duck terrine as a starter and it was equally as impressive. The terrine was perfectly seasoned and the flavors were bold and rich, with a generous portion size. The wine list at Ragazzi is impressive, with a mix of local and international options to choose from. I paired my pasta with a local red and it was a match made in heaven. But what really sets Ragazzi apart is the fact that the pasta menu rotates regularly. This means you can keep coming back and trying new and exciting dishes. Overall, Ragazzi is one of the best pasta places I've ever been to. My only wish is that they would open a location in Melbourne so I could enjoy their amazing pasta more often. If you're in Sydney, make sure to book a table and give Ragazzi a try. You won't be disappointed.
Finally came here for a quick lunch & the pastas we had were very delicious. I just wish the portion was a bit larger as the price point is a bit high. Service was good, friendly and knowledgeable staff.
Really REALLY good pasta with extensive wine list. All dishes were excellent. Stand out for us were the Blue Swimmer crab, and the duck sausage pastas. Also the focaccia with anchovy very addictive. Highly recommend.
Ragazzi is an amazing place for a cosy date or quick lunch. The menu is small by other restaurant standards, changes often, and is always amazing. The care and dedication they bring to their food is ridiculous. Wine list is great and service is always prompt with a smile. Can't recommend it enough!
