Best place in Townsville. Called multiple places and this team were the only ones to take my girlfriends Holden Captiva in. It was having problems with the sunroof and aircon. They were doing and did everything they could to give us the best outcome possible which we received. The sunroof was not opening and aircon was on breathing hot air. We got a quote from another place for $3,500 just for the aircon. This team done the aircon and sunroof for well under that price. They even let us store our car there for free for 3 weeks as we were going away, no charge!!!. Could not recommend this team enough!!!!Services: Electrical

Booked my car in to have the airconditioning fixed. Received a quote for more than $1800 but decided it was worth it to have the aircon fixed. Six months later the system failed but Quickstart claim no warranty as they did not quote to fix the system, just to replace the parts they thought were faulty. We relied on them as experts to know what was wrong, to quote to fix it properly, and then then to do the job professionally. Sadly they did none of those things. Wanted another $400 to replace 8 x $0.15 o-rings which could have been done at the same time as the main repair. No interest in taking responsibility for their work - which is a theme in the negative reviews here.Service: Air conditioning

Car was booked in but couldn't get anything done due to no second car to get home. Still not used to writing reviews but this was a misunderstanding on my part. We have re-booked the car to be looked at on Friday. And this time my Husband will be driving his car, so we can do things while my car is being attended to. And if they did have a service car, we would have been happy to borrow it until my car was fixed. Again, my apologies for the misunderstanding in regards to not bringing my Husbands car. Thank you

Getting charged $25 a day to have my 1983 VH commodore kept out in the weather with the keys left in the ignition… I’ll pay whatever the bill ends up being, but I won’t take any of my other vehicles there.Service: Battery service

Wasn't happy with the service at all. My truck was supposed to be in for some work for about 2 hrs. In the end it was about 4.5 hrs. This is a working truck and I needed it back as I told the person when I booked it in. Not a phone call or anything to say the work would take longer. I had to call them 3 times and got a different answer each time. One of the items requiring a repair was the front parking light-just needed a bulb- a simple easy no brainer that I should have done myself. Had the truck booked in for a roadworthy later in the afternoon which it failed because the parking light didn't work. Pulled out the new bulb they fitted and compared it to the one one the other side that was working and discovered they were two different bulbs. The one they fitted had the wrong fixing lugs and couldn't possibly turn to lock into place and work; a physical impossibility is what the Roadworthy Guy called it yet it was marked as replaced and checked on the Invoice which came to nearly $700. Called the owner and straight away he went on the defensive. Told him that I now have to rebook the truck for the Roadworthy guy to come back and check the lights which will cost me another $65. No offer to reimburse me for the money I will have to pay for their mistake. All I got was "I will have a word to the guy who worked on your truck". Also broke the front door step off of it. I know it was a bit dodgy to begin with but they never even had the courtesy to tell me, just threw it in the cab of the truck on the seat. For the money I paid and the time it took to do the work and the lack of any type of real service I would never use these people again.

They fixed our car within a short time, didn't had a real appointment. Price was reasonable, staff was very friendly and helpful. Can highly recommend this place, even if you just have some minor problems.

Pretty happy with the work I've had done with these guys. I'd certainly use them again. Friendly professional business.
