One of the best hotels on our 45-day road trip to NZ. It was our longest stay at 8 days among the 17 hotels we stayed for the entire trip. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay as the room was clean & had all the amenities you need and more. Location is superb, in the heart of the city yet quiet and peaceful at night. Many eateries nearby and walking distance to the weekend market. Parking was a breeze as there is a huge carpark just behind the hotel. Free parking each night and we could see the carpark from our room window so it felt completely safe. The front desk staff are all friendly and polite, especially the Chinese front office staff who checked us in. He was extremely helpful & provided lots of useful information for our stay in the city. The Housekeeping staff are lovely as well.nLove this hotel & would stay again if we return to Nelson.
Loved this place. Didn't want to leave .nDiego on reception is the loveliest man you will ever meet and helped us beyond our expectations.nRoom was immaculate, bed was comfy so we're the pillows. Has a washer/dryer to do your washing. Kitchen has a microwave and a cooktop and everything you could possibly require.nWould definitely stay again while staying Nelson.nThanks for everything Diego! :
Dishonet behaviour by the staff and property manager. First time that we encounter such a behaviour for tourists in New Zealand. Nelson offers many other great alternative, which I would highly recommend to choose from, but not to book here. I hope their treatment for tourists will change in the future.
This is by the worst hotel to deal withnnI have stayed at many hotels for work and never have I come across such rude and unhelpful staff. Ended up having to find a new hotel this place scams you out of many plays games and does everything a hotel shouldn’t.nnAvoid like the plague and stay at a better hotel
Very disappointing they had no parks - just include it in the price and save everyone the hassle…. Never got notified that you need to pre book.
