Don’t worry about booking too early at Quest. We booked a twin room 9 months in advance only to be told when we landed that there were no twin rooms available so we had a single bed and a roll away bed! No apologies, no partial refund just ‘ that’s all we have’
Place is great ! Parking system is awful , my partner paid for a parking space . Park fine when we arrived and then I drove off for work , but when I arrived to the hotel again , later that night all the parking spaces were taken , fair enough. I parked in the street that night and we requested a refund , got the refund but now I got a parking fine for parking in there when I came .nIt’s a lovely place to stay, probably just recommend to find somewhere else to park if don’t want unnecessary paperwork .
Terrible parking policy. Rooms are great, clean, got everything you need. The guy Ive dealt at reception was rude and condescending. After 2 weeks I got a parking ticket for checking in and dropping off my bags!
Did not receive daily service despite being told we would. Room suffered a dripping sound each night from the hot water cylinder. We did not get the carpark allocated and that was important to us as we had bikes. No storage for bikes. Couches shabby. Otherwise ok. Appreciated the laundry.
This was perfect for a few days in Nelson. It is central, spotlessly clean, and the rooms are well appointed. The staff are super helpful. Great place.
