A perfect spot for the whole family. Lots of gardens to explore, public rest rooms. Large paths are great for prams and wheelchairs. The duck pond is massive and my daughter loves going for a visit. The Chinese garden to the side is a wonderful addition. Very beautiful all year round.

Beautiful, sprawling gardens. Lots of space for kids to run wild. Close to art gallery and cafe. Parking can be a problem when towns busy.short walk from centre of town.

Very well maintained little park. We were walking through to go to the Suter and we're well impressed. Bring bread for the ducks if you have children. Roses are currently in full bloom so a delight to see. Free to enter.

A Nelson icon - lovely and peaceful any time of year. Dogs allowed on leash. Lots of books and crannies to explore, including a small Japanese garden. Bring your lunch and unwind.

Amazingily close to nature, Water flowing birds chirping ducks quacking and every tree named with details not only add knowledge but also peace. Great place to be close to yourself.
