We came to buy some NZ goods here to bring back to my hometown. Good place to shop for snacks souvenirs. Chocolates, biscuits, crackers, coffee, etc.
I was impressed by their deals and variety. They had fresh produce, meat, seafood, bakery, and deli sections, as well as a pharmacy and a floral department. They also had a lot of Hispanic products and specialties that I couldn’t find in other stores. Their weekly ad had some great savings on items that I needed, and their digital coupons were easy to use. The store was clean, organized, and well-stocked. The staff was friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend this supermarket to anyone looking for quality and value.
nRight.. It's Countdown, not really Woolworths. Well, you know what I mean... I just got in there looking for all my usual brands, but of course, we're in a different country nGood place to shop at.
A+ tidy and clean store with fresh food. Better and fresher then P n save, at the least 4 times in last 3 month time saw rotten Orange , melons and mandarin ect from display unit at P n save Queenstown. Wonderful shopping experience always with countdown Queenstown and great time in Queenstown too. Lots of choices: You can choose buy and cook OR buy ready to eat pack. even I found some Asian products which not sale in most of Auckland countdown stores. Staffs are friendly showing you where is the products. Thank you see you guys next time.
Good selection of groceries. I’d check the people serving at the deli section though. The lady that served me on Friday 19/1/24 was a shocker, she had a face like a slapped arse when she came to serve me, rearranged her long hair and then didn’t wash, sanitise or put on gloves and proceeded to pack my salads. To top it off she wiped her nose with one had whilst she handed me the container of food. Let’s just say I didn’t buy the salad. Also the lady at the counter was all officious about the new loyalty card, only one per person was allowed
