Absolutely appalling customer service.nnMy friend presented her digital driver’s licence when purchasing alcohol, genuinely believing it was acceptable. Instead of calmly explaining the store’s policy, the staff chose to humiliate her in front of other customers. The interaction was unnecessarily confrontational, patronising, and completely devoid of basic respect.nnTo make matters even worse, the French staff member then proceeded to take all of the alcohol from the rest of our group as well, despite the other people having physical licences. It felt less like enforcing a policy and more like making an example of customers. The whole situation was handled with an attitude that was arrogant, unprofessional, and embarrassing.nnIf your staff can’t distinguish between enforcing store policy and treating paying customers with common decency, then they shouldn’t be serving the public. We walked away feeling shocked by how needlessly hostile the experience was.nnThere are plenty of places in Queenstown that value their customers. This isn’t one of them.
Prices very high. I have my service dog & was told my dog was not allowed in the shop. They didn't look down to see his jacket. It seems upper mg't has drilled this into them. I understand, but have a look first before you tell me he can't be there!
I arrived at the Four Square just before closing and there was a lot of hot cooked meat still available for sale that should have been reduced so I asked the staff when dose it get reduced and they said that they don't reduce that hot food and it is for the staff to take home for free when they close. Not reducing food that is about to expire is costing the business money plus they are loosing sales due to the staff's greediness. Also most of the staff are not from New Zealand
