Enjoyed a fabulous lunch with friends today. I had the Seafood Pappardelle, and it was delicious. I'd thoroughly recommend this dish. The Seafood Chowdwer is also very good, and was enjoyed by two at our table. nnIf you like the idea of dancing on the wharf to groovy 80's/90's tunes, you would love to spend the afternoon at Queens Wharf Hotel. The dance floor was packed, and it's a really big area. It was so great to see people of all ages enjoying the music. Also, the staff are very accommodating.nnWe have been there twice in the past couple of months, and we caught the ferry from Stockton each time. Plenty of free and cheap parking. Also, there's a great Cafe for coffee and cake on the way home.nnWe will definitely be repeating this day soon!
I enjoyed a peaceful late lunch, soaking up the sunshine, the riverside views across to Stockton, and the relaxed ambiance. The service was both friendly and efficient.nnI ordered the coconut-coated banana prawns, which were delicious—crisp, flavorful, and well cooked. The accompanying salad was fresh, though it was a bit overwhelmed by an overly generous amount of dressing.
Came in here for some food and a drink with some mates. Seccy was lovely when checking us in and the food ordering attendant was nice but when I went to the bar I was served by ‘Antoine’ who upon asking for a jug of beer asked ‘are you retarted?’ then stated they weren’t selling jugs, and proceeded to serve me a 1cm short from the top beer. The food portions were appropriate and quality was decent, particularly the Parmi, Chroizo burger and Diane sauce were to die for. Unfortunately a few of our parmi’s were missing gravy, the pizza bases were a bit doughy and the slaw dressing was very oily though overall the food experience was nice. The venue was quite clean and right on the waterfront with lovely views and a nice interior. I did not at all appreciate Antoine’s attitude and he ruined an otherwise lovely experience.

We went to QWH for a team/work dinner. We utalised the seating upstairs and the atmosphere was great.nnWe would like to give a shout out to Alfie for providing us wonderful table service meaning we didn’t have to go to the bar to order.nnOverall the team had a range of meals from pasta to chicken schnitzel and also steak. Everyone enjoyed their meal and there were no negative comments.nnQWH is great for a meal or even just catching up for a drink with friends
