Don't imagine that being a regular customer at this shop will buy you any kind of respect or professional treatment. Having used this dry cleaners monthly for the last 2 years I will never go there again after recent treatment by the woman in the shop. During cleaning my silk dress lost a button, which is just one of those things. However the shop effected a low quality repair - unasked for, and unwanted - by replacing the button with a non-matching one, and stitching it on in the wrong place by more than an inch. They failed to tell me this when I collected my dress so I only discovered the repair later. On asking for an explanation the woman denied the repair. I was called a liar and told to get legal involvement to make a claim against them. Thing is, I didn't ask for or want any money. I just wanted an explanation, because I thought I had a relationship with them. Therefore cannot urge you strongly enough not to trust this business with your clothes.
NEVER EVER USE THIS BUSINESS. They've ruined an expensive designer dress of mine and are refusing to pay for its replacement. I was accused of buying it from a charity shop and pretending they've damaged it! It was completely burnt by an iron with holes in it. The lady was incredibly rude and unhelpful and I'm down £250. I'm taking legal action.
They close early and open late so it’s really difficult to come and collect your items. Never answer phone calls either!
Absolutely ruined a really expensive dress! : Asked for a grey strap to be sewn back on as it had snapped and was sewn back on with blue thread really messily had to bin dress and was still charged.
I have used Exclusive since I moved to the area in 2013. I have never had a problem and it suits me to travel from where I now live 6-7 miles away for both value for money and polite and helpful service.
It would help if they actually opened when they say they do. Wasted money on the car parking in the square. Waste of time too.
Clean things without getting them wet.
