We visited this café during our trip to the botanical garden, and it was the perfect refuge on a rainy day. Cozy atmosphere, excellent coffee, delicious dessert, but most importantly – the kindest staff we’ve experienced in New Zealand so far. Thank you for the lovely experience, and we’ll definitely be happy to return!
What a gem! The service was amazing and the food was even better. I had a Labneh special that was out of this world, but the sandwich from cabinet was equally as good. So glad we pulled in on our way up the coast. Definitely worth the stop.
I went to brunch with my family several times, and was touched by the unwavering excellent taste and artistic food and service.nThis cafe surprisingly always gives us joy and emotion.nIn particular, the kind male staff who showed us art with pepper yesterday makes us feel happy to respond to customers with constant smiles whenever we visit. It must be a precious treasure of this cafe. ^.^nOn my way home with my daughter, I praised this beautiful and friendly cafe for its taste because the food is artistic and the ingredients are fresh. We drove two hours to come to this cafe, and it was always a pleasant meal out.nnIt makes me think that the person who makes the food at this cafe is definitely the best chef.

Wait to be seated while staff float between tables avoiding eye contact. Granted the cafe was busy, no doubt everyone catching up for xmas lunch however maybe a little eye contact would be appreciated.nService did improve however when we were seated. Staff were friendly and attentive.nI ordered the cauliflower bites which were pricy for the portion size. Looks like I got the leftover bits. Dressing was nice.nSlightly on the expensive side for what you get. Daughter ordered the scrambled eggs on toast which she always gets!
