I have had the worst experience with this insurance company. I highly suggest nobody think about getting any insurance policies out with them. They have made no attempt at contacting me in regard to a claim that was approved and have made multiple attempts to contact them and cannot get through. I am so confused as to why no contact has been made to me? This is an accepted claim. They clearly have the worst management with their claims. I am surprised a business like this is even allowed to operate. The amount of negative reviews this insurance company has speaks for itself. Please do yourself a favour and never sign up to this insurance company.
I would give them 0 stars if I could. Truck driver crashed into my fence and gate. He had QBE motor vehicle cover which he made a claim through. 3+ months later, countless hours on hold on the phone, numerous emails and there is still no resolution to this matter. QBE seems to have a policy of ignoring you and hoping you will go away, even when they are obligated to pay out. This is disgraceful behaviour and they should not be allowed to get away with this. I will now have to make a complaint to the Australian Financial Complaints Authority in order to progress my matter. QBE and its leadership should be ashamed of themselves.
Missed a call from Monique Rasepall and I called back 2 minutes and she didn't pick up so I had to speak with jannine which is a QBE worker in the same department. She was very rude and and not helpful. Qbe has very bad workers that don't do anything, the only thing they are good at is not replying to my emails and are always not available when we call them. Jannine told me "to do whatever I want" in an unpleasant way. This is my first ever accident and I have done nothing wrong and I get treated as if i am the one that caused the problem. They play games with me. 0 stars, very bad service
Landlord insurance. I provided them detailed condition reports from the agent before and after with all the photos. I then complied a report to list the damage. They sent an assessor there to view the damage and I showed them everything in the report that was listed. I had to follow up QBE a few weeks later to be told I need to provide evidence of the damage. WHAT!!. They have reports from the agents. The assessor also came to view the damage. Two months after submitting the claim house is still not liveable and QBE are not responding I paid for insurance. I will take this to VCAT.
Singlehandedly THE worst insurer to try to get through to on the phone. Transferred to multiple people, hung up on, then on hold for well over two hours. Good luck to anyone needing to speak with them.
The worst insurance company. Have been intentionally avoiding calls and emails with me regarding an accepted claim. Not really sure how this kind of behaviour is legal by an insurance company? Avoid at all cost.
Very bad insurance company. I lodged home insurance claim and been with them for 10 years. Recently got robbed and when i lodged a claim they investigated for 8 months and only stopped once i went to the Australian Financial Complaints Authority who found them to be investigating “unreasonably”. Even after that they tried to pay less, So off to the ombudsman again 3rd complaint to AFCA who ruled in my favour . They will take money they aren’t the cheapest and will look for any excuse to not pay you. Be aware of your rights and use ombudsman for every issue you have with them As soon as you feel unheard go to AFCA . They are certainly not with you but rather against you. I won’t change insurers and i will stay with QBE bcause now i know what they look for and the tactics they use and how to deal with devils like this don’t change if you are unhappy learn and be smarter for your next claim
I was ready to take a policy out with QBE after getting a competitive quote but couldn't retrieve the quotation or access their website. Just constantly came up with a blank page . I gave up in the end and went with another company.
WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE!! I called multiple times and waited up to 3 hours each call to try and process my claims, however the call was dropped each time. Still haven't been able to get through.
I would give them zero stars if I could! I am a comprehensive policy holder and made a claim for a not at fault incident. 2 months later, numerous emails and hours on the phone with no resolution. They will not return calls or reply to emails. Avoid this company! I am disgusted by the way they treat their customers. Even their complaints department are useless. I will now have to make a complaint with the AFCA.
