They served teriyaki chicken , sorry it was stew slop, the rest of the lounge is quite nice with good choice of other food and wine ,
Separate from Qantas Club but after 5.30pm is opened to all classes. Gets very crowded for all the late Eastern state flights departing after 10pm. Staple of hot food of pizza, stew and roce, and soup. Plenty of salads.
Love to see sunset when sit in the lounge and having hot tea, waiting plane took off
Pretty standard Qantas lounge. Crowded and not very functional, never enough sits, hard to find any charger for your phone or laptop. Average food, lacking healthy and vegan options. Barista made coffee is always a highlight and the best part. Staff is very helpful and friendly doing their best, which one cant say about some of the visitors. Always love the self service juice machine, so one can prepare a freshly squeezed juice.
Was there before flying out to America via Melbourne last Wednesday. Free buffet style breakfast where you can have whatever you want. Pancakes were nice as well. Being a morning flight it was full of FIFO workers with Platinum status but that was expected, still lots of free space.
