Overall a pretty decent campground. Great location, beautiful views, a lot of sites for tenting, campervans, and cabins. The two issues we had were that when we tried to check in, nobody was around, and it wasn't self check in. We waited around for about an hour to try to get our spot which ruined some of our plans. Secondly, we arrived early and grabbed a great spot. We pitched the tent, hung up a clothes line, and left to go on some hikes. When we came back, Flying Kiwi Tours parked a massive bus right next to us, and completely surrounded our site, blocking us in, and had 2 tents within our paid for area. I don't mind neighbors, this was not that. When I brought this up to the management, they said they couldn't do anything about it. I'm assuming the bus is a regular high value customer who gets to do what they want. So we moved sites from right on the ocean, to in the back corner of the campground. I wasn't very happy. Free showers, decent kitchen with some cookware provided, and the toilets were clean. I'm sure they're better than this. I just didn't have a great experience.

So glad we stopped. Not on the kiwi backpackers app. Close to pancake rocks. Simple but good and clean facilities. Polite and welcoming staff.

Waking up next to the see is always amazing. Watching the sun set is timeless and the location of this place is out of this world. Feel remote and drenched in nature, went climbing near by and thought it was all great.

These people can't be locals. Very rude and short with us. They also mentioned after we payed that the internet is limited. The guy behind the desk had a super creepy vibe. The next morning while we were in the middle of making breakfast the guy came in and said we needed to leave so he could clean, as we were putting our stuff away outside he came out again and said, "hey team, gonna need you to pack up and leave." We originally planned to leave our stuff there and see pancake rocks, but then his mother came out and reminded us if we were to leave our stuff, that we were not to return to thw camp without paying. Super rude and unwelcoming, needless to say it was quite the stressful morning. They only get away with it as it is the cheapest place to stay out of the 3 options.

Man. This is one of the beautiful backdrop for a tent site. Loved this place for camping. Lots of stoves, but it's always busy.
