Nice train station, well designed with bus lines connected to the rest of Pukekohe, as well as a few train routes connecting to Auckland CBD Britomart Waitematā, Hamilton and many parts of Auckland, bringing convenience to Pukekohe residents and visitors
Good little train station parking is ample but looks like they are extending it. Good access from Manukau rd side for disability use. Trains usually on time but the closures for school holidays don't make it feasible year round
The station works as designed. Any problems are caused by AT management which seems intent on meeting its objectives to the letter without actually improving the passenger experience. For example the bus timetable was changed to conneybetter with trains, so AT changed the train timetable
First day traveling through Pukekohe station with Te Huia. The service will no longer stop at Papakura station.nnUsed to catch bus 394 from Pukekohe to Papakura. Now you can either catch the AT trains or the buses.
The upgrades made a massive difference. So different being able to catch the electric train and travel non-stop to Auckland CBD, and all stops along the way.
