On Sunday I came for lunch with a group of older women, three of whom had serious mobility issues. You kindly seated us inside and provided table service. Our waitperson was just lovely, nothing was too much trouble for her. Thank you so much.
Absolute must! The food is amazing, and I love the Puhoi Beer. It has a great outdoor seating area. This place has character!
Staff were friendly. Ordered Steak, fries and salad from the menu and this was a tasty meal. There is a whole lot of knick-knacks all over the walls and looking through these was beautiful. I would have liked serviettes to be provided.
Great place - been there many many times. With regard to the item on the news: sometimes history isn't pretty, that doesn't mean it should be removed. Keep up the awesome work.

What a pub! Atmosphere, food, the best interior I've EVER seen in a pub. So much character and stories, you could spend a week here and not see everything. And that's just inside the bar! You must come here!
We shared a meal under the grapevine area at the pub. Beautiful place for our mum / nana she would have love it as we all did. Helpful staff great atmosphere.
Great historic location, good food, amazingly entertaining walls in the rooms.
