I love 16 Tun!! We were a bit miffed on our last visit though, we tried to book but were told they don’t take bookings at the moment due to America’s Cup, only to find a reserved table when we got there, we had to use a leaner/high table. Great beer as always!!!
Great beer options, really enjoyed their sours on tap. Really enjoyed their burger. Chips we're excellent too. Very modern. Would recommend booking, seems like it would get busy any other day of the week.
Cozy place, where to enjoy variety craft beers from different breweries. More better that you can enjoy snacks or other foods with your beer as well. Bonus point - if you are interested in New Zealand craft beers, then take a look to the guide book, where you can find information about breweries and craft beer bars across the country.
I loveee 16 Tun. Pearse the bartender is very nice and such a gentleman. He kept my sunglasses for me after I forgot it somewhere and he came to asked me if my mum wanted anything to drink she was just having water at that moment. A very chilling and cozy bar, I like the ambience here very much. Will definitely go back to this place !
Great place. Bit hard to read the menu but a great selection of beer. Food is good, staff friendly also
Had late afternoon drinks with coworkers on a recent bright sunny day. Found a free table right at the back. It was dark compared to the sun filtering in from the front and like many places got very loud due to the chatter & bare walls. Staff were wonderfully helpful & the snacks were delicious.
Great selection of beers. Would drink again.
