Nice meal at Soul over the weekend. We enjoyed our food, although it took longer than expected to come out. But they were extremely busy, and the wait staff were friendly and kept out waters topped. The Bluff oysters were fantastic and I enjoyed the scampi Spaghetti!
We celebrated our friend's birthday on Sunday. It was beautiful, the settings and the view. Food was delicious, our waitress was friendly, and attentive despite extremely busy. Only draw back was food were slow to come out due to short of staff. We a large group also, 13 adults and 1 child. We had a lovely time.would come back there again.
A cult classic for a reason. We went for restaurant month and it didn't disappoint. The calamari is a must. And the carpaccio was beautiful. Both mains didn't disappoint. To think chicken could taste that good, I think that was the most impressive. Service was pleasant, but a touch too fancy for me. Would love to go back and eat again.
Thank you Bailey & Staff for taking the utmost care preparing our sons 21st birthday lunch for 63 people, 2 course meal and drinks. Food, ambience, staff, venue was impeccable. Our families since the lunch, haven’t stopped talking about the service and how lovely the lunch was, thank you for going the extra mile.
Great location. Not your average eatery. We had a vegetarian and a gluten-free person in our party. They could cater for everyone. Food was decent. Not sure if it's worth the price.
Super delicious. Good service. We just land and walk in. Lucky we got inside seat. And all staff work effective. Recommend to go. If you can book early there have great view seat.
There is always a vibe about Soul. Service was efficient and cordial. Our waiter was quick to see that we have all we need. Oysters, very fresh. Scampi pasta, good but too much hype. Whole fish of the day, beautifully done. Was it worth it? Yep.
I've been to Soul a few times this year. The food is consistently good and service was fast. The balcony is a nice spot with the hanging flowers. I'd say it was too noisy for kids. We couldn't hear people sitting at our own table. Kid-friendliness: No kids menu but the waiter said they could do fish n chips, chicken and chips or Mac and cheese in kids portions.
Exquisite food and dining experience. The food and the service was impeccable and the wine list was on point. Our server, Mike was really helpful is making excellent recommendations for the appetiser and main. Would definitely recommend if you’re visiting Auckland.
First night in Auckland and we choose Soul to try. We had about an hours wait so we sat in the bar. Service was friendly but a bit slow. Wine list was good and very fair prices. When we moved over to the dining room, our service levels increased considerably. We enjoyed fresh fish and steak that we both excellent. Good overall experience and very nice location with good service. Recommend.
