Four of us went there for lunch. Can't imagine why there weren't more customers that day. Special deal for a steak and a beer. Great value. Superb steak. Crisp chips. Tasty gravy. Very friendly service. So glad we chose this place over all the others in Devonport.
Had the green mussel for lunch. Been waiting to try them in nz as most of the green mussels are frozen in the states. They were to big and meaty for my taste. Good cold beer and wine was good. The waitress must have been new there.
Really cozy pub. Great food and many good beers.
Lovely lunch. I had viener schnitzel & my friend had the ribs, both were very nice. Service was great too!
Great place to catch up with friends and a good place to have a private function. Very friendly staff noting the current covid restrictions. Great range of beers on tap.
A pretty good pub. Has upstairs rooms that can cater for private functions as well as a garden bar out the back. The building is a little quirky with odd spaces due to its layout, which isnt a big thing, and it's better than a big barn.
Great local pub - best place for after work drinks on a Friday.
Nice spot to sit outside and enjoy a cold drink, service was really friendly and efficient. They even packed up one of our orders as we were too full from the earlier food. Well worth a stop for a good feed and a nice drink. Indoor and outdoor seating available.
Probably reached a bit late so didnt get 2 items from the menu, but still the food was very good.
