Windsor Castle

As tourists, this was a wonderful experience and one of the best pubs my wife and I found in Auckland. Great drinks and fantastic service - the staff were helpful, friendly and gasp cheerful! We felt warmly welcomed! A lovely, cozy place where guests are family. Didn't eat there so can't speak to the food thus only 4 stars.

Good selection of drinks and friendly staff. Atmosphere was a little flat at the time we visited and no noticeable x factor at the place hence the 4 stars. Cool private room downstairs for functions/dinners if you are looking for a venue.

Stopped in with my mates for a couple jugs. Speights was ice cold and staff were polite and fast. We stopped in on quiz night and it was a blast! We had a great time. Was kinda bummed out that literally 30 seconds after quiz night ended, everyone left. Still a cool spot though.

Nice pub . Good beers. Menu quite comprehensive but the quality of the pizzas is disappointing. Duck fat chips do not appear to be cooked in duck fat.

A little disappointed at the present time. The menu has changed dramatically and with no Cider on Tap, some of our Quiz Team are thinking of packing it in. I really think the Windsor Castle needs to listen to its regular customers and stick with what is popular. We love going to Quiz nights and it would be a shame to pack it in and go somewhere else.

Have been here 3 times now and each time we have found the bar staff really rude. It's a shame because it's a great location, building and atmosphere. I wasn't planning on adding this here as I had thought that our experience was a one off, but reading other reviews it seems the staffing problems are really an issue.

You'll definitely get more than 'just' pub grub! Gourmet food, great atmosphere! Fantastic music and super friendly staff.

Just don't. An acoustic duo's sonic abuse had us running for the door with take away. What we took away was equally abusive to the pallet. The worst dining experience I have had in New Zealand.

Grate pub great vibe great food grate survive grate drinks. Get down there now and blow the moths out of your wallet for a grate pub experience.

Food's average at best. Service is... meh... Ambience is ok. Won't be coming back here. I've never felt compelled to write a review until this... What a let down.
