Having had great modern Australian throughout our trip on the Gold Coast, this one was bit of a let down. Portions are only good for sharing between three people max, unless you get the few big plate choices, but with five adults we actually had to order two rounds more of entrees. Flavor pairings were okay but not stellar. For the price, I would have expected more.

My wife and I visited Public tonight after years of saying "we should try Public one night." Now we're kicking ourselves for not doing it much earlier. Amazing food, amazing service and a great drinks list. We loved it, we're hard markers and can't wait to come back. It might even be next week......
