Was extremely appalled at the lack of customer service from Sharyn and two young girls. Entered the store around 5pm where we were not greeted, or even looked at! despite no other customers, we had to ask for help which we regretted after being met by a dark hair, tanned girl in her 20s who was the rudest sales assistant who made snide remarks, talked poorly and clearly required further training. We walked straight out after 10 minutes of poor service and took our business to another jeweller in the centre. Will not be returning and the rude, narky and arrogant employee lost out on a big sale. Worst customer service experience and it must be known as other jewellers expressed other customers had commented on Prouds customer service from staff being appalling.
Stood at the register wanting to put money on a lay-by. Team member doing nothing walked past a number of times another customer came in behind me and got served before me .and the team member doing nothing told the other team member that I was there first and they just laughed and talked about how I could just wait until they were ready to serve me.finally the team member doing nothing decided to serve me. I have worked in retail for over 20 years and have never meet ruder staff.
Jewellery is a rip off. Staff are rude, even the manager has no customer service skills. Train your staff properly on how to treat customers. I will not spend my money there due to bad service.
I recently had the pleasure of working with Monikha at a local prouds jewelry store. Her customer service was outstanding and her knowledge of the products was remarkable. She was able to answer all my questions in detail and provide me with great information about the jewelry. She was extremely professional and I felt very comfortable with her. I ended up purchasing more than I had originally planned, and I'm very happy with my purchase. Monikha was a pleasure to work with and I highly recommend her for anyone looking for advice and detailed information about jewelry. She is a true asset to the store!
Went in there yesterday there were 3 staff members and only me and another customer, I was looking for a good cross and chain for a christening, I stood there looking and wanting for assistance as staff were cleaning windows display than as I stand facing the counter waiting for assistance someone ells comes in and gets attended before me I walked out and spend $500 at the jewellery shop across from them and was help on the spot ! I understand if they busy we need to wait out turn but with only one other customer in the store and they cleaning and chatting , it’s not on
So not happy with this service The new jeweller doesn't know how to do his job properly I've had a ring back there now 3 times and every time they have charged me a different price For the same thing thats reoccurring Why should I be paying for something that the jeweller is not fixing in the 1st place Lost my business you won't I won't you won't see me again in there
Cannot speak highly enough of service we received in this store We required a quote for some jewllery products and was given the time and assistance required to acheive this task. We would like to thank Kerry who was excellent and very knowledgeable with products and customer service was Ten out of Ten, well done Kerry.. Thankyou we will return to your store in the future Marti and Sue Baker
If I could give this store minus 10, I would- probably the worst attitude by staff and manager I have ever had the misfortune to deal with! Rude, ignorant and couldn’t care less is this branch-
Customer service? What customer service? I was completely ignored by the three staff members for a few minutes, no other customers in the shop. I would have walked out but I had checked on line and knew what I wanted. Eventually I was approached by a staff member radiating disinterest, purchased what I wanted and left. Previous visits to this store have been quite a pleasant experience but I will not be back. Only given one star because it will not let me give no stars.
I bought a watch for my sons birthday. On the day I gave it to him the face of the watch fell off. It had not been damaged it just fell apart. Under the consumer guarantees act this constitute a "Major Failure." In which it clearly states that the CUSTOMER is to decide whether they would like a REFUND, REPAIR or an EXCHANGE of equal value. When my wife and I returned it we were told that we were not entitled to a refund and that they HAD to send it to the manufacturer to be repaired. Now we were later told that we had to contact the manufacturer ourselves to get a resolution. I did not purchase the watch from the manufacturer I bought it from Prouds the Jewellers in Morayfield. We jumped through that hoop and the manufacturer said they would not REPAIR or REPLACE it. The staff member told us again that we could not have our Consumer Guaranteed REFUND but could exchange it for equal value. There were no other watches that we were remotely interested in.Then they told my wife she could choose a nice piece of jewelry of equal value for herself. What an insult, it was my sons birthday present! Finally the said they would take it up with their Manager. But not straight away we would have to come back another day. On our forth visit my wife was told yes they would be able to give us a refund. But because my wife didn't have the same bank card with her she would have to come back yet again, with the card in order to receive the refund. When she asked for the refund in cash she was told "no we can't do that unless we fill out forms and send them to the head office which will take 4 weeks to process." Fifth visit and when I again asked for cash so I could purchase a replacement watch elsewhere straight away I was told "No." Vanessa then credited my card. Surprise surprise when I went buy a different watch my card declined because the the money had not transferred yet. It's been 35 days since my sons birthday I guess waiting a few more days for the money to go into my account is no big deal. The staff were not rude and sympathised with our situation. However there is no excuse for trying to dodge my right to have my purchase refunded. Nor is there any excuse for dragging this dispute out for weeks.
